Eyebrow lamination is a semi-permanent brow styling treatment that sets brow hairs in an upward direction. The result: the "fluffy brow" look — fuller, thicker, and more defined brows without microblading, tattooing, or daily brow gel. At Jeannie Nails in Sheet Harbour, we offer brow lamination for $35 per session. Results last 6-8 weeks. The procedure takes 30 minutes.
Three solutions are applied in sequence. Solution 1 (lifting cream): breaks the disulfide bonds in the brow hairs, allowing them to be reshaped upward. Solution 2 (setting solution): reforms the bonds in the new upward position. Solution 3 (nourishing oil): soothes the skin underneath and conditions the hairs. Between each solution, the brow hairs are brushed into position on a silicone tool that holds the shape. The total time is 30 minutes — faster than a brow tint (45 minutes) and significantly faster than microblading (90-120 minutes).
People with naturally straight or downward-growing brow hairs. People with sparse brows who want them to look fuller without filling them in every day. People who have been microbladed before but want a softer, less permanent option. People with brow hairs that grow in different directions (lamination trains them to all go the same way). Lamination works best on medium to thick brow hair — very thin or fine hairs may not hold the shape as long. We recommend a consultation before booking if your brows are naturally very sparse.
Results are visible immediately after the treatment. The brows look brushed up, fluffy, and defined. No makeup needed for 24 hours (the solution continues setting). After 24 hours, you can apply brow gel, pencil, or powder normally. The lamination lasts 6-8 weeks. Touch-ups at 6 weeks refresh the shape. Lamination can be done every 5 weeks minimum — the solution is gentle enough for regular use but the brow hairs need time to recover between treatments.
We also offer a lamination + tint combo ($50): the tint darkens existing brow hairs to match the newly lifted shape. Recommended for clients with lighter brows who want the full effect without filling them in.
